A river session on the River Calder at Sowerby Bridge, structured to run parallel activities for paddlers of all abilities.

Suitable for intermediate kayak paddlers who have capsized with a spray deck, there are some rapids to learn some river skills and some small drops. A great introduction to white water rapids and a springboard to learning new skills and running rivers.

Not suitable for beginners or members who have not capsized with a spray deck.If you are unsure if it is suitable for you, please contact a club coach  who can provide guidence to you.
