This weekend 13/14th May is the Greenstar Canoe Club lake slalom at Manvers Lake near Wath Upon Dearne.

The slalom is a Div 4 competition for beginners and as such is open to anyone who would like to have a try at slalom – adults as well as children. There are different age categories and prizes for all age groups. There is a slalom race on both Saturday and Sunday.

Some younger club members have expressed an interest in having a go at slalom – this is the perfect opportunity.

We can arrange to borrow the slalom boats and all necessary equipment at the weekend.
