Events for this weekend have been added to the calendar. Due to the high amount of rainfall, the Rivers are not suitable for our regular Saturday sessions. However, as restrictions have been partially lifted at Pugneys Country Park Lake, we are able to run sessions at our usual home.
Sessions are being run but with limited numbers per session. To assist with social distancing measures, we will be running small sessions of no more than 5 people (in line with guidance from British Canoeing) and setting off in half hourly intervals. There are 3 two hour sessions on the calendar this week starting from 10am – we may also look at running a fourth session if demand is there.
Session one: 10.00 – 12.00am Session two: 10.30 – 12.30pm Session three: 11.00 – 1.00pm Session four 11.30 – 1.30pm – To be confirmed
Changing rooms within the main building are not presently available, so please arrive at the session prepared as best as possible and prepared to change at your car / outside. For current up-to-date information about current amenities at pugneys, see the page below:
Depending on the wishes of the group and the weather, we can either paddle around the lake or stay in the sheltered area.
Costs for borrowing equipment are £8.00 per person as there is a charge the club have to pay to Pugneys for each paddler on the lake.
