This Saturday Andy Walker is looking to organise a bit of a paddling session at Sowerby Bridge.

For those of you who don’t know this section of river it is a great place for most paddling abilities. There are a series of small waterfalls all with a nice safe pool after them, Beginners can safely run down the whole section and seasoned playboaters will love playing in the drops.

Looking to get there late morning and then people can stay as long as they like.

We may be able to pick up some boats and equipment  but PLEASE contact andy@westyorkshirecanoeclub.com before Friday if you require any boats or kit.

PLEASE NOTE THE SESSION IS ONLY OPEN TO CLUB MEMBERS AND IS NOT A COACHED SESSION – THE FINAL DECISION REGARDING PARTICIPATION WILL BE DOWN TO ANDY.
