This Saturday we will kick off our 2022 season with just a morning session on the river due to it being Easter weekend. We do have the possibility to run a small taster session group in the afternoon if there is sufficient interest in this.

This week we are running a session on the River Calder at Horbury Junction.

Morning river session:

10.00 – 12.00pm         

Please be aware that even though the outside temperatures are due to be pleasant, the water temperature is still quite cold so please ensure you are kitted out correctly with a wetsuit and suitable footwear.

The café at the river is open 9am – 1pm so if you want a sandwich you can grab a butty before getting on the water.

The cost for borrowing equipment is £10.00 per person for any session.  

Anyone who has not paddled with the club before MUST complete a taster session before joining regular sessions, this allows us to assess any new members and run over club safety procedure’s etc. Taster sessions can also be booked on the website .
