As there is no river run this weekend, we will be having another practice session on the Calder at Healey, this Saturday (17th) at 1pm. For those familiar with the place, the wave down the bottom end was rather good last Sunday and the rocks we placed there last year to build up the wave are still there.

For those not familiar, it is a good place for practicing your surfing, ferry gliding and general white water skills (it is the place Mike has used on numerous occasions previously for his white water practice sessions and our summer evening sessions).

You will need to bring your own boat and kit unfortunately as we have no way of transporting club boats ourselves.
