Many of you may have seen on social media or heard about the temporary suspension of water sports at Pugneys until mid July. This is due to staffing problems of safety boats on the water.

Apologies to club members but the temporary suspension of water sports, includes West Yorkshire Canoe Club and our Saturday Sessions.

Whilst we are strongly making the case, as a Club we are more than qualified and competent to provide our own Safety on the water. We have been forced to cancel this Saturday’s Club Session, 17th June.

We will update you on further Saturday Sessions at Pugneys ASAP.

This weekend is our family camping weekend at Slenningford so there is the opportunity to visit for the day for some paddling or depending upon the level of interest we can look to possibly organise a local paddle depending upon safety cover etc.
