About Us |

We are a canoe / kayak club based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We run events for people of all experiences every week, if nothing is planned, your always likely to find people who are up for a paddle. Club membership is drawn from a wide geographical area and we have members from all around the West Yorkshire county. A large section of the club is made up of youth paddlers who help one another train and learn new skills, along with a helping hand from our more experienced paddlers. The club has 3 sessions per week in the summer & 2 through out the winter. In the summer we paddle at Pontefract Swimming Pool, Batley Swimming Pool & Pugneys Country Park. And in the winter we just paddle at Pontefract & Batley We also run national events including the famous West Tanfield Slalom & Hog Roast, and we also run our own famous club events like the Abersoch Holiday.
