Welcome.

This is the official website of the West Yorkshire Canoe Club.

We are a family friendly canoe club based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Thank you for visiting our site & we hope you enjoy your visit.

We organize plenty of river trips through out the year for paddlers with varying skills, so keep an eye out for what is coming soon. Events can get cancelled at the last minute and others can get added, so keep watching!

We run allsorts of events including well known national events such as the West Tanfield Slalom & the Washburn Family Weekend, and our own club events including our annual trip to Ilfracombe, Devon & the Tanfield Weekend

As well as the odd canoeing  trip we also have a wide social life with pub visits, bowling nights & social get togethers
