PUGNEYS COUNTRY PARK – SATURDAYS – 12:30PM TO 3:30PM – April through to end of September (No sessions during the Winter)

Meet at the green container, to the left of the main building 12:30pm latest, in order to be on the water for 1pm.

Note that the container will close at approx 12:50 so the coordinators can get ready.

Pay a member of the club and not at the desk in the main building – Price: £7 for non-members including kit hire, £5.50 for members who borrow kit, £4.50 for members who use their own kit.

Club equipment for non-members and members borrowing equipment includes cags/boats/paddles/helmets/buoyancy aids/spraydecks.

Please make sure you have suitable footwear as this is not provided (e.g. a pair of old trainers). Wear something warm and that won’t spoil if it gets wet – t-shirt/tracksuit/jogging bottoms etc. In cooler weather, a fleece can be a welcome addition.

Parking at Pugneys costs £2.50 for 4 hours.

A new system has been introduced by Pugneys management to enable them to know who is on the lake.

Everyone should have received a form but if not it is below:

Private Launch Application

ALL members are required to complete & return to either a club pool session or by email to wyccclub.secretary@googlemail.com

Please return your completed form asap but do NOT return the form  to Pugneys. This will register you on their system & you will be issued with a swipe card. On arrival at Pugneys you will need to go to Pugneys reception to have your card swiped, this will register you as paddling that day & you will be given a band to wear whilst on the water. Once you have registered at reception come to the lock up & pay your fees to the club member collecting that day & get ready to have some paddling fun.

Anyone under 16 MUST be signed in by a responsible adult and MUST wear a helmet at ALL times on the water – sorry but there are no exceptions.

Please note it is one form per person not per family, if Pugneys do not have a completed form they will not allow you on the water.
