Pugney’s

Image may contain: sky, ocean, cloud, outdoor, nature and water

After much uncertainty surrounding Pugney’s we have finally got the go ahead to begin our summer sessions this week Saturday 21st April.

Weather looking good for tomorrow.

Meet at 12.30pm at the green container to be on the water for 1pm.

Looking forward to a good turn out.

Please come along and support your club.

Slalom

Some of our members have been competing in slalom over the last few weeks – keep up the good work.

Andy C, Olivia, Russ, Grace, Fraser, Liz and Aaron – well done guys.

Below we have some photos from the last couple of weeks races. And evidence of Russ’s obligatory swim 🙂

Congratulations to Grace who was promoted last week to Div 3 – well done.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Just a quick note to say the session tomorrow night at Pontefract is cancelled.

This is due to a pump that has failed resulting in an empty pool.

Why not come along to Batley session on Friday night instead?

Normal sessions resume next week hopefully.

Slenningford Weekend

Hi everyone we are planning on holding another club/family weekend this year at Sleningford Watermill. Unfortunately due to unforeseen popularity of the site we have had to change when we planned to have this weekend.

I have reserved a number of electric and non electric pitches from Fri 18 May to Sun 20 May at Sleningford. If you are interested in coming along please complete the online booking form at www.SleningfordWatermill.co.uk and mention WYCC when booking, as they will try and site us together.

For those of you have not been before the site offers a relaxing atmosphere on the banks of the river Ure. The river has a bit of everything from play features to gentle flat water, (Depending on levels) so has something for everyone.

If anyone would like any further details or wants to ask any questions please get in contact with myself Rich on cookerich83@gmail.com or 07966794571

Hope to see you there

Rich
